Compare emulsions, resins and supporting materials around the printing substrate, ink system and converting requirements.
Specify paper, film or another material, including surface treatment and absorbency.
Identify binder, print coating or other use, and describe the current pigment and resin system.
Share printing or coating method, viscosity window, drying conditions and subsequent converting steps.
Define adhesion, water resistance, rub resistance, blocking, gloss and clarity requirements with their tests.
Distinguish the substrate and surface treatment first, then check wetting, adhesion, drying and converting requirements. Similar product names do not establish interchangeability.
Start with the current ink formulation, substrate, process and performance targets. Compare the relevant product data, then test compatibility and application performance. No resin type is the default answer for every ink.
Describe the packaging use, target market, contact conditions and customer requirements so FAST can confirm available documentation. Website information and a TDS do not by themselves establish approval for a particular use.
